There are basically two types of search engine optimization. 

White hat SEO
Black hat SEO

Though both types of search engine optimization have their proponents, most of the websites or companies stay from the Black hat SEO, because it’s make your website in top position easily with in short times, but not stable. The website rank will fall down and never be increase ranking. That’s why SEO companies and websites are recommended to do white hat SEO. White hat SEO is a slow process, but long-term, stable, and sustainable.

White Hat SEO

White hat SEO is a techniques or methods to increase the website rank in different search engine. Search engine like Google, Bing, Yahoo etc. White hat SEO is a manually process. It’s take times, but highly effective.

Few white hat SEO techniques include:  High quality content writing, the content must be 100% unique,  HTML optimization of website and Reconstituting, manually link building. White hat SEO is must, if you want to long-term ranking.

Black Hat SEO

Black hat SEO is a techniques that directly find out the weaknesses in the search engine algorithms to obtain high rankings for a website. Techniques and methods are in direct action with search engine guidelines.

Some black hat SEO techniques include: Keyword stuffing, link spam, cloaking, hidden text, hidden links and create too many spam Backlinks. Black hat SEO can easily make your websites in top position of search engine. But it’s not stable all the times. Within few days, ranking will be done.

In the other hand most of search engine companies used gray area, this process is known as gray hat search engine optimization. Many search engine companies use gray hat SEO for increasing. Gray Hat SEO is not white hat and black hat, it is the combination of both.
